The 2nd Annual Oxford House Workshop was May 9th at St Mark’s United Methodist Church! |
|
The day began with an awesome array of food, donated by Chapter 2, (Heartland Chapter) in Topeka. |
|
Marty Walker, Outreach worker from New Orleans opened the conference, attended by 75 Oxford House Members and Alumni from Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Maryland. |
|
Workshops included Infectious Diseases, Becoming a State Association, Fundraising, How to Attain/Maintain Alumni, Media Plan for Alumni, Officer’s Training, Women and Children’s Houses, and Community Relations. |
|
For lunch Chapters 1 & 4 provided delicious Wyandotte BBQ and Panera Cookies. |
|
Conference speakers included Marty Walker, Anna Mable-Jones, Kirstin Hallberg, Charlie Bartlett, and Victor Fitz. |
|
Raffle prizes included a big screen tv, IPOD, XBOX, stereo, lots of $25 and $50 gift cards! |
